Bruschetta Recipe

It doesn't get much better than this mouth watering bruschetta. It's so good we usually have it as our dinner, but it's also the perfect appetizer.

Ingredients needed:
Baguette
Red apples
Onion
Garlic
Cherry tomatoes
Pepper Jack cheese
Turkey bacon
1/2 cup Apple cider or apple juice

In one pan add the chopped apples and apple juice. Cook until apples are soft and slightly brown.

In separate pan, cook the turkey bacon. Once cooked, chop into pieces and set to the side. In the same pan (with bacon grease), brown the onions and minced garlic. Mix in the bacon, and turn heat to low.

Butter the sliced baguette and broil in oven until butter is melted. Then add slices of pepper jack cheese, broil until brown.

Add the apples, garlic/onion/bacon mix and top with cherry tomatoes and you are ready to devour this bruschetta!
